Wedding FAQs
How do we book you for our wedding?
Once you inquire, we’ll set up a time to connect so I can learn more about your story and the vision for your day. To secure your date, a signed contract and retainer are required. After that, your date is officially yours.
What is your approach to photographing weddings?
I document your day with an intentional, story-first perspective—quiet moments, soft gestures, and the authentic way it all felt. Less posing, more presence. I move gently and blend into the rhythm of your day so your images feel honest and timeless.
Do you help with posing and direction?
Yes, in a way that still feels natural. I guide you into flattering light, give gentle prompts, and help you settle into each other. Nothing overly staged—just true connection.
How many images do we receive?
Every wedding is different, but you can expect 50–75 edited images per hour of coverage, thoughtfully curated to tell your story from beginning to end.
What is your turnaround time?
For weddings, full galleries are delivered within 6–10 weeks, depending on the season. Sneak peeks are sent within 72 hours so you can relive a few favorite moments right away.
Can we add on engagement or bridal sessions?
Absolutely. Engagement sessions are a beautiful way for us to connect before the wedding and for you to get comfortable in front of my camera. Bridal or day-after sessions are perfect if you want a slower, more intimate time to capture portraits.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I happily travel throughout Northern California and beyond. If your celebration is taking you somewhere meaningful—or somewhere wild—count me in.
What if it rains or the weather shifts?
Weather adds mood and magic. We’ll always work with whatever the day brings. If adjustments are needed, we’ll make them calmly and intentionally to keep your experience stress-free.
Do you work with a second shooter?
For small, intimate weddings, I often photograph solo to keep things organic. For larger celebrations or when timelines are tight, you’re welcome to add a second shooter for additional perspectives.
Will you help with the wedding day timeline?
Yes. I’m here to make the day flow effortlessly. I’ll help build a photography timeline that supports natural light, meaningful pauses, and a relaxed pace.
What is your editing style?
Soulful, nostalgic, and true to the emotion of the day—warm tones, soft grain, and edits that honor the moment rather than overwhelm it.
Can you work with family dynamics or sensitive situations?
Absolutely. Every family has its own story. Let me know what would make you feel supported, and I’ll navigate everything with care and intention.
Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes—heirloom prints and albums designed to last a lifetime. I’ll help you choose pieces that beautifully preserve your story in a tangible way.
